Albania is an independent state on the Balkan Peninsula in south-eastern Europe.

• The numerous Albanian Principalities (united into the League of Lezhë (1444–1479))

• The Albanian Kingdom (1928–1944) (Protectorate of Italy 1939–1943, and Client state of Germany (1943–1944))
• The Socialist People's Republic of Albania (1946–1992)

Albania may also refer to:

• Caucasian Albania, or Arran, an ancient kingdom in the area of modern-day Azerbaijan
  • Albania (satrapy), the same area within the Iranian Sassanid Empire
• A Latin name for Great Ireland, an unkown land once said by many Norsemen and others to be located near Vinland.
• A medieval Latinised variant of Alba, the old Gaelic name for Scotland or Great Britain
• Albania Veneta, Venetian colonial possessions on the Adriatic coast during the 15th to 18th centuries
• Several towns in different parts of Colombia:
