Åsta Gudbrandsdatter
Åsta Gudbrandsdatter

Åsta Gudbrandsdatter (born circa 975/980, died circa 1020/1030) was the mother, from her marriage to Harald Grenske (Grenski), of Norwegian king Olaf II, renowned as Olaf the Holy (995-1030, reigned 1015 to 1028).

From her second marriage to Sigurd Syr, she became the mother of another Norwegian king, Harald III, famous in the Heimskringla as Harald Hardråde (1015-1066, reigned 1047 to 1066). 1. Guttorm, their eldest
  2. Gunnhild
  3. Halfdan
  4. Ingerid
